Here  is my story

Despite my 16 years of experience in the HR World, I do not want to give you a standard detailed CV. I would rather share with you my own “story” - my own life experience which I believe is the most important thing that has made me a credible coach
So here is my story, here is how it all began...

my first passion... People

I was one of those lucky people who discovered her passion when she was  still young. As a high school student, I always had an interest in Social Sciences, primarily Psychology. I was fascinated as learned more about individuals and groups, human mind and behavior. So that interest has guided me towards what I wanted to study at University and I entered Psychology Department of Boğaziçi University in Istanbul. Having studied different principles, I chose to specialize at Industrial and Organizational Psychology. As an Industrial and organizational psychologist, I wanted to contribute to an organization's success by improving the workplace and the performance, satisfaction and well-being of its people. The inevitable direction in corporate work was Human Resources.

So, I began working in the HR department of Demirbank. I was in the generalist  role working actively  in the recruitment, performans appraisal systems, career planning, training, compensation and benefits areas. In 5 years, I was assigned to HR Manager position, being responsible of the HR functions of the overseas operations. Success, accomplishment, challenge was important for me, and later as I entered into the coaching work and explored deeply about myself, I learned that these were actually some of my values. In 2001, I was transfered to Citibank as a Resident Vice President in charge of the HR functions. So there was another chance to fulfill my values. Being selected to the High Potential Talent Pool, I was sent to Brussels Headquarter office, for a project assignment. Everything seemed to be in place, but still something was missing... Fulfilling my value of independence...

following my heart...

With the passion of indepence, I took a big step and left the corporate world to start my own business. In 2008, I  established my own company, “HR House Consultancy” with a lovely partner. We started working for corporates, but this time on the other side of the table. It was  a boutiqe consultancy firm specialized on mid-senior level search and selection services.  Meanwhile I became a mother of two little angels and this also gave me flexibility and work life balance. We had reputable client space,  enough projects to keep us busy, I was the boss of myself running my own business but I was still in my comfort zone of the very familiar  HR world. And I knew that was not all I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

my hunger for growth

Being a lifelong student,  I attended several workshops and training programmes. In 1999 I attended Psycodrama Co Therapist Training Programme held by Istanbul International Zerka Moreno Institude Psycodrama.  This is a group psychotherapy method which  enables one to gain insight, change perceptions and prepares the individual for a more creative future full of spontaneity

In 2007, I met with the coaching world, by than I did not know this experience would be a life changing one for me. I completed the core curriculum coaching programme held by CTI which  is the largest in-person coach training school in the world and the only program to teach CTI's ground-breaking Co-Active Coaching model.

In 2010 I completed the coaching programme of CRR-Organizational and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC) which is the the only coaching school that offers a systems-based ICF Accredited coaching program. ORSC Model focuses on coaching organizations, groups, teams, partnerships and couples in their systems relations. Paralel to ORSC Training, I attended the Alchemy Training in 2010 and  Coach as Alcemist Master Class in  2011. Followed by Neuroscience for coaching in 2011 and  Improvisational Approach to Coleading Workhops in 2012

my transformational change

My evoking transformation started in 2007 as I attended the CTI Coaching courses. And contunied throughout the way with the CTI Certification program where I received my degree as a Professional Co Active Coach (CPCC). This enabled me to go back to my roots of working with  human beings at a much deeper level and dedicate myself to coaching which would give me the oppurtunity to create change with  my clients in their lives and witness their journey. Meanwhile I was selected as a faculty member for CTI and became a Front of the Room Leader, which means training the coaches on Co Active Coaching Model and Certification Faculty Member as certification program leader, supervisor and group supervisor.  And paralel to this I have completed the CTI’s ground-breaking 6 month long Leadership Program in Barcelona Spain.

Being a mother of two daughters, I also have passion for creating a lifelong magical relationships between parents and children. Therefore I attented Connection Parenting in 2010 and  in 2011, I completed the world-reowned Gordon Training International’s  (GTI) Parent Effectiveness Trainer Program and became a certified P.E.T Trainer. In 2011 I attented Parentology Workshop developed by CTI’s co founder Henry Kimsey-House and CTI Leader Gonan Premfors and I am a global  Front of The Room Leader for Parentology Workshops
